School School I love School
This week we started standardized testing. It was fun until I got a sinus headache! It hurt so bad it made me cry after the teacher left the classroom.[Tip, this is a real-life account] My friend 's made me feel a little better!
I have another question. I just read a newspaper article about standardized testing (particularly concerning science) that compared how children in the U.S. do on these tests compared to other children around the world. The trend is that kids around the world do much better. Do you have any ideas why that could be? I think it would be interesting to have a student's opinion. What kinds of topics did your testing include? Any science? When I was a kid, standardized testing only asked math and reading questions.
